**Description**


**Overview**


Plan and direct all aspects of the division's learning objectives and initiatives. Administer the education, training, and development programs that fosters the organizational expertise needed to maximize employee effectiveness and efficiency out in market.


**Duties and Responsibilities**


+ Direct, implement and/or facilitate learning and development strategies and programs to meet Trans-Atlantic of Michigan objectives

+ Work with the Michigan TA Leadership Team to establish best practices for the delivery of learning programs

+ Collaborate with Michigan TA Leadership Team career pathing for all employees

+ Direct the analysis and implementation of learning plans and strategies for the division to maintain and improve effectiveness

+ Research, identify, implement and maintain new opportunities for supporting training needs and goals Identify on-going business needs to be addressed and satisfied by meaningful, action-oriented training

+ Manage, facilitate and execute training programs that incorporate on-line and mainly out in field

+ Schedule and facilitate training with DM's & Reps, as required

+ Generate reporting of and ensure 100% compliance on core curriculum

+ Measure impact/application of training programs by following and monitoring the established metrics

+ Conducts follow up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results

+ Work with sales consultants and managers, as requested by Michigan Leadership Team, and provide developmental feedback and coaching to Management & Consultants

+ Oversee the scheduling and coordinating of all training classes; develop calendars for initial training program roll-outs and for maintenance of programs for employees

+ Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to the success of the Trans-Atlantic of Michigan division at SGWS

+ Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the SGWS Sales

**Qualifications**


**Minimum Qualifications**


·Bachelor degree plus 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience


+ Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

+ Expert knowledge of sales and sales management techniques

+ 3years of industry experience with demonstrated spirit and wine product knowledge


**Preferred Qualifications**


+ Certification with Wine and Spirits Education Trust, Court of Master Sommeliers, and/or Society of Wine/Spirits Educators

+ ATD Certifications or equivalent

+ Knowledge of adult learning theory and application

+ Work effectively in a team environment and to collaborate across lines of business and functions

+ Develop strong credibility and internal relationships at all levels and influence key decision makers

+ Maintain a high level of personal confidentiality, integrity, and strategic orientation

+ Deliver and execute training and development programs across Michigan

+ Manage projects

+ Take a consultative approach to understand requirements and resolve issues

+ Prepare and manage relevant training and team budget(s)

+ Travel within the State of Michigan required (Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Mackinac Island, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Ypsilanti, Bay City, Flint, etc.)

+ Excellent management skills with a strong ability to influence outcomes in a multi-level operation

+ Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with ability to present to all levels and audiences Demonstrated effective presentation and facilitation skills

+ Business acumen skills to understand key business drivers and products to work with leaders to identify training needs

+ Strong organizational, time management, planning, prioritization and follow up skills to manage multiple assigned projects simultaneously

+ Results oriented and customer focused skills with the ability to lead and work on a team

·Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine


·Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping


·May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
